These terms cover using hawkestarot.com, joining the Parlour and booking readings with Blake Hawkes of Hawkes Tarot in Calgary, Alberta. By booking or joining, you agree to them.

About the readings

Tarot readings are offered for reflection and entertainment. They aren't medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and they aren't a substitute for it. Please don't make important decisions based only on a reading. Your choices are always your own.

Who can book

You need to be 18 or older to book a reading or join the Parlour.

Membership

Membership of the Parlour runs through Patreon, so Patreon's own terms apply to signing up, paying, changing tiers and cancelling. What each tier includes is shown on Patreon and in your member home.

If your membership includes a live reading each month, that's one 30 minute reading per Patreon billing month. Unused readings don't carry over.

Booking and paying

• Prices are in Canadian dollars and are shown before you pay. Members may see member prices.
• Payment is taken by Stripe when you book. Your reading is confirmed once the payment goes through.
• You'll get a confirmation by email with the video link, or the address for in-person readings.

Changes and cancellations

• More than 24 hours before: you can reschedule or cancel for free, and a cancelled paid reading is refunded in full. An included monthly reading goes back into your month.
• Within 24 hours, or if you don't come: there's no refund. If something's come up, message me and I'll do what I can.
• If I need to cancel, you'll always get a full refund, or a new time if you'd prefer.
• Technical trouble on my side, like a dropped call or a broken link, means we'll find another time at no cost.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually take 5 to 10 days to appear.

In-person readings

In-person readings are in the Calgary area, at the address in your confirmation. I may end or decline a reading, online or in person, if someone is abusive or I don't feel safe. In that case it isn't refunded.

My readings and posts

Everything I share in the Parlour (my posts, videos, spreads and printables) is mine. It's for your own personal use. Please don't share or resell members-only content.

Responsibility

I do my best to keep the site running and the readings on time, but I can't promise the site will always be available. As far as the law allows, my responsibility for anything that goes wrong is limited to what you paid for the reading in question.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada.
